He just leaves it sitting on a counter top, so I pitch it into the coin counter, and every six months or so I stagger to the bank with a ton of coins and pick up about 100 bucks in mad money. :-)Ortizzlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709991994425909880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34547190.post-90559452907621300522009-07-09T13:16:08.961-05:002009-07-09T13:16:08.961-05:00Aren't you nice to offer up this freebie for u...Aren't you nice to offer up this freebie for us! I never "win" anything, but my time is free, so I'll dig around over there and see what, if anything, I find. I'll let you know if I come up with a windfall. These days, if I find a dollar in the clothes dryer, I get all excited!Nancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17627214346956206283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34547190.post-54280027036605226662009-07-08T10:03:50.571-05:002009-07-08T10:03:50.571-05:00SHARKEY: Wow, thank goodness you waited on that fo...SHARKEY: Wow, thank goodness you waited on that for the real deal to come along! Regarding the blog: this is the only place I write these days, and obviously not as often as before. I gave up the dot com because the person who set it up for me let it disappear into a black hole, and I decided that the old blog that was free was just fine. :-)Ortizzlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709991994425909880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34547190.post-54405650324564869502009-07-07T20:30:38.141-05:002009-07-07T20:30:38.141-05:00I was in a similar situation once. Initially, a company contacted me, saying they knew about some unclaimed money in my name and they would handle everything for "only" 2/5 of the total amount. I usually ignore stuff like that, but something made me call. It was legit, but I decided that 40% was too much to pay them and let it drop. Several months later, I got a letter from another company/agency (can't remember if it was my former mortgage company or HUD or just who it was), and sure enough--they had about $1300 that belonged to me. Jackpot! And I got to keep 100% of it. :)

You don't usually write on this blog anymore, do you? I thought you were on WP with your own domain?

Hope you had a nice vacation!Sharkeyhttp://sharkeymalarkey.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
